6月5－8日，侯猛副教授参加由法律与社会协会（Law and Society Association） 和法律社会学研究委员会（Research Committee on Sociology of Law）举办的“法律与社会” 2012年国际会议（2012 International Conference on Law and Society）。他向会议提交论文，并在Legal Consciousness and Legal Culture in China 单元做了Empirical Research on Petition relating to Lawsuit in China的主题发言。
