Assistant Professor Li Fenghua Participated in the 2nd Nordic-Chinese Forum for International Economic Law

From April 10-12, 2019, Assistant Professor Li Fenghua of UIBE Law School was funded by the iCourts Research Center of the University of Copenhagen Law School to participate in the Second Nordic-Chinese Forum for International Economic Law in Denmark. The theme of this forum was “China, Sustainable Development and Economic Policy-making”. Experts and scholars came from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Denmark, the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, World Trade Organization, and scholars from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Norway, Finland, Australia, Brazil and other countries and regions. They discussed new developments in China’s sustainable investment, trade and energy cooperation and related political, legal and economic policy issues.

On the morning of April 11th, the first topic was hosted by Professor Henrik Palmer Olsen, Associate Dean of the University of Copenhagen Law School. Professor Julien Chaisse of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Law School, Professor Shen Wei of the School of Law of Shanghai Jiaotong University and Assistant Professor Li Fenghua of the School of Law of University of International Business and Economics served as speakers. The theme of Li Fenghua’s speech was the legal framework for China’s sustainable overseas investment in the construction of a green Belt and Road initiative.

This is the second time that Li Fenghua participated in the iCourts Research Center of the University of Copenhagen Law School. Previously, Li Fenghua was funded by iCourts and served as a visiting scholar at the Center in 2016-2017.
