On March 26, 2019, Professor James R. Hackney, dean of Northeastern University Law School, and Professor Margaret Y. K. Woo, vice-dean of Northeastern University Law School, officially visited UIBE Law School. Professor Gong Hongliu, vice-dean of UIBE Law School, and Ms. Tian Tian, senior coordinator of foreign affairs of UIBE Law School, held talks with the guests.

This is the first time that Northeastern University Law School approached UIBE Law School. Representing our law school, Vice-Dean Gong warmly welcomed Professor Hackney and Professor Woo. During the meeting, both sides introduced the overview, advantages, specialties, faculty and students of each school respectively. They also conducted deep discussion and shared many understandings concerning the needs of enrollment, inter-collegiate exchanges and visits, joint student training and other cooperation areas, marking a good start for further cooperation and exchanges in the future.
