Students from Australian University Law Schools Visited UIBE Law School

On July 19th, 201411 foreign students from Australian university law schools came tovisit UIBE Law School. The program was under the direction by Director Yin Baohu from China Law Society Academic Exchange Center. Deputy Dean Gong HongliuProfessor Xu   HaiyanAssociate Professor Xue Yuan, Lu Jiefeng and Australian foreign teacher Professor Matthew Kennedy from UIBE Law School conducted a seminar with the visiting students .The seminar topic was China legal education.

 

On behalf of Dean Shi Jingxia.Dean Hongliu warmly welcomed Director Yin Baohu and the others in attendance from the Academic Exchange Center and the 11 students.

 

Subsequently, the teachers andvisiting students made self-introductions one by oneMany of the undergraduates were students from University of Western Sydney School of Law .They raised questions about the major areas of study at UIBE Law School, the difference between Chinese and Australian legal educationemployment statusin Chinese and Australian legalmarkets and whether Chinese students often pursue postgraduate legal education. The UIBE teachers answered all the questionsand introduced the basic situation and training eatures of UIBE foreign student projects. They informed the students that all such courses are conducted in English. Through the exchanges, the Australian student learned about the UIBE Law School experience.


  Finally, Director Yin Baohu expressed heart felt gratitude for the seminar,which had provided rich information. The two sides exchanged giftstook photos and brought the seminar to a successful closing. This successful seminar played an important role in promoting exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Australian Law Schoolsdeepening Australian students’ understanding of China legal education system, and attracting Australian students to come to China for legal study.
