On September 12th, 2014, UIBE Law School held a welcome luncheon in Ningyuan Building for 14 newUIBE students from Israel, Kazakhstan, Mexico and nine other countries. DeputyDean Gong Hongliu presided over the luncheon reception.Other teacher represent actives included Professor Fujun, Professor Xue Yuan, Zheng Haiping, Lu Jiefeng, Professor Matthew Kennedy, Associate Professor Arthur Chiu,and Associate Professor Jane Will ems. Wang Yanling from the School of Chinese also attended.

During the welcome reception, DeputyDean Gong Hongliu first stated her appreciation for the attendance of the teachers and students present. She warmly welcomed the newly enrolled foreign students on behalf of Dean Shi Jingxia. The teacher representatives were invited to introduce their own courses, and they also gave their best wishes and expectations to the foreign students for their program at the Law School.

Some senior foreign students also actively participated in the reception. With the good will of helping the new students, they exchanged their experiences and feelings during the one-year study at the Law School.They gave positive suggestions tohelp the new students to integrate into UIBE Law School. The teachers and students enjoyed the welcome reception,whichended in a warm, relaxed atmosphere.
