PRACTICE EXPERIENCE:

  • Broad corporate and securities practice in U.S., China and rest of Asia.
  • Practice focuses on international securities and capital markets transactions, and mergers and acquisitions transactions, including private equity transactions, in China, the rest of Asia and the United States.
  • Representation of major investment banks and issuers in U.S. SEC-registered and private securities offerings, including IPOs and other equity offerings, convertible bond offerings, investment grade and high yield bond offerings and sovereign bond offerings; and U.S. and Asian companies and private equity firms in public and private M&A transactions.
  • Extensive experience in China and rest of Asia; based in Hong Kong and Beijing for over 20 years.  Worked on transactions in China (including Hong Kong), Australia, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
  • Regularly named as a leading lawyer in China/Hong Kong for international equity capital markets transactions by Chambers.
  • Substantial experience teaching corporate, securities and M&A Continuing Legal Education classes.
